These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of greenrouteindustries.com (the “Site”) and the used cooking oil (UCO) collection and logistics services (“Services”) provided by GreenRoute Industries LLC (“GreenRoute,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Information We Collect
eenRoute provides used cooking oil collection, transport, and related logistics services to restaurants and food service businesses in the Houston, TX area and New York. Specific pickup terms, frequency, and pricing are established directly with each client and may be confirmed via a separate service agreement or pickup sign-off form.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Submit false or misleading information through our forms
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Site’s operation
- Use the Site to violate any applicable law or regulation
3. Client Sign-Off and E-Signatures
Where GreenRoute uses electronic sign-off forms (e.g., Jotform) to confirm pickups, your electronic signature or confirmation constitutes acknowledgment of the pickup details recorded (volume, date, container condition, etc.) and is treated as a valid signature for recordkeeping purposes.
4. Cancellations and Missed Pickups
Clients are expected to provide reasonable notice if a scheduled pickup needs to be cancelled or rescheduled. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows at the scheduled pickup location may result in adjusted scheduling priority, additional trip fees, or suspension of service, at GreenRoute’s discretion.
5. Force Majeure
GreenRoute is not liable for delays or failures in performing the Services due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, road closures, fuel supply disruptions, vehicle breakdowns, natural disasters, or other events of force majeure. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients and reschedule as soon as practicable.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms are established per client agreement and are not processed through the Site. Any pricing, invoicing, or payment disputes are governed by the applicable service agreement between GreenRoute and the client.
7. Liability and Disclaimers
- GreenRoute performs collection services using reasonable care but is not liable for pre-existing spills, container damage, or losses arising from client-provided storage equipment.
- Our liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the value of the specific pickup or service giving rise to the claim, except where prohibited by law.
- The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold GreenRoute harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.
9. Regulatory Compliance
GreenRoute operates in accordance with applicable state used oil transporter and transfer facility regulations (e.g., TCEQ registration in Texas). Nothing in these Terms modifies our regulatory obligations or those of our clients under applicable law.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, logos, and graphics — is the property of GreenRoute Industries LLC and may not be used without our written permission.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, the dispute shall be settled by binding arbitration administered under the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration organization, with the arbitration seated in Harris County, Texas. Either party retains the right to seek relief in small claims court for qualifying disputes.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
